Welcome to More Than Data. By accessing or using our products and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our services—including but not limited to Minute MMM, Budget Optimizer, Data Automation, Comprehensive MMM, Omnichannel Optimization, and other analytics solutions—you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Your continued access and use of our services constitutes your acceptance of these terms.

2. Service Description

More Than Data offers the following data-driven analytics and decision support services:

  • Self-Service Tools: Minute MMM & Budget Optimizer
    • These tools are now offered under a paid subscription model, either monthly or via 12-month upfront payment.
    • Users are required to upload or input their own marketing data (e.g., media spend, KPIs) for automated processing and modelling.
    • Results include marketing mix models, return-on-investment estimates, and budget allocation recommendations.
  • Customizable Services: Data Automation, Comprehensive MMM & Omnichannel Optimization
    • These services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client through direct collaboration, custom setup, and expert-led delivery.
    • We work with clients to automate and streamline their data pipelines—consolidating marketing, media, and business performance data from multiple channels and sources.
    • Custom-built models provide deeper insights beyond standard outputs, including channel synergy effects, lag/decay curves, marginal ROI, and scenario-based forecasting.
    • Our Omnichannel Optimization service supports cross-channel budget planning, integrating both digital and offline media touchpoints to improve holistic performance.
    • Service delivery may include onboarding workshops, custom modelling, advanced data integration, and ongoing analytics support.
  • No Win, No Pay Program
    • This program is designed to support media agencies in their client pitches and account retention efforts.
    • We provide customized modelling, scenario planning, and optimization insights to back your strategy.
    • If the pitch is unsuccessful or the client relationship is lost, we refund the initial fee in line with our "No Win, No Pay" guarantee (see Section 7 for details).

3. User Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, lawful, and authorized data.
  • Ensure you have the rights to upload or share the data with us.
  • Use our services only for lawful and authorized purposes.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Data Privacy & Security

We take your data seriously. Our practices include:

  • Self-service: Minute MMM & Budget Optimizer
    • Secure Access: Only authenticated users can access their own account.
    • Encrypted Transmission: Data is encrypted during upload and transfer.
    • Temporary Storage: Uploaded data is only stored temporarily for processing and is automatically deleted when the session ends (upon logout, browser closure, or software shutdown).
    • No Data Retention: We do not store or retain user-uploaded data beyond the session.
  • Customizable Services: Data Automation, Comprehensive MMM & Omnichannel Optimization, and “No Win, No Pay” Program
    • Client-Provided Data: These services rely on clients sharing and exchanging data with us. Without such data, we cannot deliver insights or models.
    • Data Processing: Any shared data is used strictly for analytical purposes as agreed upon with the client.
    • Secure Handling: We follow strict security measures to protect client data during processing.

5. Payments & Subscriptions

  • Minute MMM and Budget Optimizer are now paid services, offered as:
    • Monthly subscription, or
    • Annual upfront payment (12-month contract).
  • Your subscription will auto-renew unless cancelled.
  • We do not offer refunds for subscription periods already billed unless explicitly stated (see Section 7 for exceptions).

6. Intellectual Property

  • More Than Data owns the software, algorithms, trademarks, and materials used in all services.
  • You retain ownership of your own data but grant us a limited license to use it strictly for generating insights and delivering services to you.

7. No Win, No Pay Guarantee

For eligible engagements under the “No Win, No Pay” program:

  • Clients are charged an initial setup fee to cover scoping, modelling, and resource allocation.
  • If the agency fails to win the pitch or retain the client, this initial fee is fully refunded, provided:
    • The client supplied all required data and inputs on time.
    • The agreed engagement scope was followed.
    • The outcome is documented and verified.
  • More Than Data reserves the right to decline participation in the “No Win, No Pay” program at its discretion.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You breach these terms,
  • You misuse the service,
  • Or you violate any applicable laws in connection with your use.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of the service after updates constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
